Michael was born in Lexington, Virginia and moved to Cobb County in the early 1970’s.  He graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 1978, and completed his CPA certification in 1982.  He became a partner of the firm in 1985, and manages the consulting services division of the firm.

Michael provides consulting services for: Business development, financing/development of real estate, management of golf operations, hospitality properties, business valuations, market feasibility studies, business planning, merger and acquisitions, litigation support, technology and information systems, and investment portfolio management.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and Hospitality Financial & Technology Professionals.

Michael is involved in a number of community activities.  He is a Past President of the Marietta Metro Rotary Club, a past Director of the Board for the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce – serving as Chairman of the Marietta Local Area Council, a member of the Leadership Cobb Alumni Association, a long-time Board member of the Tommy Nobis Center, and Past President of the Marietta Country Club.

Michael and his wife, Debbie, have a teenage son and a daughter who lives with her husband in California. Michael enjoys golf, tennis and woodworking, and his family time in the mountains at their cabin in North Georgia.
